Discord bot

Run your next raid with Pugger

Add Pugger to your Discord and put the signup flow through a real raid. Give your players one clear place to respond, build the roster from those signups, and turn it into assignments without copying names between tools. Get started now and see how much planning disappears.

Get started with Pugger

After adding the bot, sign in with Discord to choose the server and finish its setup.

Getting set up

01

Invite the bot

Two scopes and four focused channel permissions, listed below. No privileged intents required.

02

Say who may lead raids

Point Pugger at the Discord roles your officers already have. The owner or someone with Manage Server can finish this first setup; after that, everyone else gets the boards read-only.

03

Name your realm (optional)

/realms add turns on the Warcraft Logs numbers. Skip it and everything else still works.

04

Run /raid

That is the whole setup. The first raid post is also the first thing anyone has to learn.

How signing up feels

Pick a class

One dropdown on the post. No command to learn, nothing to install.

Answer once

The first time someone signs up as a class, the bot asks for the character name, spec and anything worth noting. It remembers, per class - a warrior one week and a priest the next are two characters, not a change of mind.

Change your mind freely

Tentative and Absent are buttons on the same post. "Edit my signup" changes spec or corrects a name without bothering the raid leader.

Commands

/raidRaid leaders

Creates a raid and posts it for signups. Takes a title, a date and a time, then asks which instances the night covers - pick several and they stay in the order you picked them.

/realmsServer owner

Optional. Names the WoW realms your Discord raids on, which is what lets the roster show each signup's Warcraft Logs standing. Add none and that part of the app simply stays off.

What it asks for

Scopes

bot, applications.commands

Channel permissions

View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, Read Message History

Privileged intents

None - it only reacts to its own commands and buttons

Roles are read from the interactions people send it, so it never needs to see your member list.

Curious what the raid leader sees once signups are in? The roster, the assignment boards and the player pages are all in the app.

Open the raids

During early access, all currently available features are included. Some functionality may require a paid plan in the future; any changes will be explained before they take effect.
