Privacy Policy

Only what planning a raid needs:

• Your Discord account: Discord ID, username, avatar hash, and your role IDs on that server. Discord sends the roles with every interaction; they decide who may edit a board and who counts as a regular.
• Characters: character name, class, specialisation and role — all of it typed by you when you sign up.
• Signups and rosters: which raid you said yes to, which group you were put in, what you were assigned, and whether you confirmed — each with a timestamp.
• Notes: the free text field on a signup. What is in it is what you wrote; it is stored unchanged and shown to that server's raid leaders.
• Server settings: Discord server ID, name, the roles it has chosen, and its realm.
• Appearance preference: the last color scheme used while signed in, counted only in aggregate on the operator's administration page.

Using Pugger needs no real name, no email address and no payment details. An email address only ever arrives if somebody types one into the contact form (section 6). There is no third-party tracking, analytics service or advertising anywhere in Pugger.

DEDiscord-Konto, Charaktere, Anmeldungen und Aufstellungen, freie Notizen sowie die Einstellungen des jeweiligen Servers sowie die zuletzt verwendete Farbgestaltung. Letztere wird nur zusammengefasst ausgewertet. Klarnamen, E-Mail-Adressen und Zahlungsdaten werden für die Nutzung nicht erhoben; eine E-Mail-Adresse fällt nur an, wenn sie im Kontaktformular freiwillig angegeben wird. Es gibt kein Tracking durch Dritte, keine externen Analyse-Werkzeuge und keine Werbung.

To provide the service under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: a roster cannot be built without a character, a class and a confirmation. Where role IDs and server settings decide who may edit what, the basis is also the legitimate interest in a service that works and cannot be tampered with, Art. 6(1)(f). The aggregate color-scheme totals use the same legitimate-interest basis to improve the service without profiling individual users.

Nobody else receives it. It is not sold and not used for advertising.

Three, all strictly necessary and therefore exempt from consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG:

• the Discord sign-in session, which keeps you signed in;
• one that remembers which Discord server you are currently looking at.
• one that remembers the color scheme you chose for this browser.

There are no analytics or marketing cookies, which is why you will not see a cookie banner: there would be nothing to consent to.

If you use it, you send your message and — where you fill them in — a name and an email address. They go to a Discord channel the operator reads, and are used to answer you and nothing else. The basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or (b) where the question is about using Pugger.

Your IP address is checked briefly when you press send, to limit bulk sending. It is not stored, not logged and not passed on; only a count is held in memory for a few minutes.

The message itself then lives in that Discord channel, so Discord processes it too.

Typefaces are served from this server. No connection to Google Fonts is made and no IP address is transmitted to Google.

Raid data is kept indefinitely. Past rosters are part of what makes Pugger useful: autofill reads the previous raids to give returning players the duties they had before, and a guild should be able to look back at who raided when.

On request, the link to a person's Discord account is removed, their account name becomes "deleted user", their character names become specialisation labels, and their personal notes, avatar and stored Discord roles are cleared. Pugger keeps no lookup key or mapping that reconnects the remaining raid participation, attendance and assignments to that person. The remaining information therefore does not make them reasonably identifiable from Pugger's stored raid history and is kept as anonymous history rather than merely pseudonymised data. See section 8. There is no automatic expiry as things stand. Messages already sent to Discord are not rewritten and remain subject to Discord's own retention and privacy rules.

DERaid-Daten werden derzeit unbegrenzt gespeichert, weil die Autofill-Funktion vergangene Raids liest. Auf Verlangen wird die Verbindung zum Discord-Konto entfernt, der Kontoname durch "deleted user" und Charakternamen durch Spezialisierungen ersetzt; persönliche Notizen, Avatar und gespeicherte Discord-Rollen werden entfernt. Pugger behält keinen Schlüssel und keine Zuordnung, mit der die verbleibenden Angaben zu Teilnahme, Anwesenheit und Zuweisungen wieder mit dieser Person verbunden werden können. Die Person ist damit anhand der in Pugger gespeicherten Raid-Historie nicht mehr vernünftigerweise identifizierbar; diese Historie wird als anonym und nicht nur als pseudonymisiert behandelt. Eine automatische Löschfrist gibt es bislang nicht. Bereits an Discord gesendete Nachrichten werden nicht nachträglich geändert und unterliegen den dortigen Aufbewahrungs- und Datenschutzregeln.

Access (Art. 15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), portability (20) and objection (21). An informal message to contact@pugger.gg is enough.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority — for Hamburg, the Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

DEAuskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch nach Art. 15 bis 21 DSGVO. Eine formlose Nachricht genügt. Daneben besteht ein Beschwerderecht bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde.

The signup note is a free text field. What goes in it is your decision; it is stored as written and shown to that server's raid leaders. Please do not put health information, or anything else that counts as a special category under Art. 9 GDPR, into it.

DEDas Notizfeld ist ein freies Textfeld. Der Inhalt wird unverändert gespeichert und den Raidleitern angezeigt. Es wird empfohlen, dort keine Gesundheitsdaten und keine anderen besonderen Kategorien personenbezogener Daten im Sinne des Art. 9 DSGVO einzutragen.

This policy changes when the processing does. The version published here, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
